The United States of America is very populated. It has a total of 50 states. The USA is also a better and best country to work in, as it has some of the most renowned companies in the world. If a person is going to live in the USA, they should think about their children's education. The educational program in the USA is known as one of the best educational programs in the world. The way of learning in USA schools is quite different compared to other western countries. Also, studying from one of the most renowned education systems in the world will make you stand out in the light. Also, the USA spends more money on education per student than any other country in the world. This is one of the reasons why the USA education system is known as one of the best.

Literacy rate in the United States of America is approximately 99 percent. Because of a law that compels its citizens to have the necessary basic education. This state law enforces that every student aged from 6-8 years to 16-18 years must have an education. The majority of students in the United States (approximately 87%) attend state-owned or public schools. The rest of the students (about 10%) go to private schools and rest in public schools.

The US Education System falls into a different category. To help students learn and explore new things in a fast method. The American education system provides a rich field of alternatives for international students. There are such a range of schools, programs that impress students. 

Schools in the USA 



Children start school at age 5 or 6 and complete at age 17 or 18. 

A student has to repeat a class due to prolonged absences or poor performance, although this is rare.

There are a total of 12 years of study. 

The elementary (primary) school has Grades 1 to 5.

Junior high or middle school is compromised in grades 6 through 8. 

High school has Grades 9 to 12.


K – 12 education

students can leave school with parental consent between the ages of 14–17. However, other students must stay in school until age 18. Public education is free and generally runs from kindergarten to grade 12 (K-12). 

Most parents send their children to either a public or a private institution. One-tenth of students enrolled in private schools according to government statistics. . 

Because they are tax subsidized, tax burdens differ from region to region. School districts are separate from other local authorities, with different administrators and budgets. Generally, there are mandatory tests for K – 12 public school systems.

Child education in the USA usually takes from the age of 5 to 6 years. Pre-schools are known as Kindergarten schools.

And these schools are not forced. Private organizations run most of these schools. And various childcare organizations are also running.

Basic education for students usually begins at the age of 6 to 7 years. And in many places provided by the government free of charge. Elementary school begins or starts from the first grade to the fifth grade.


Secondary School

Middle High School usually starts from the age of eleven to twelve years and lasts for three years. Middle School runs from sixth grade to eighth grade.


High School or Senior High School

This sets the stage for a student to choose a career of their choice. High school usually starts at the age of fourteen or fifteen and ends at around eighteen. High schools allow students to choose their major subjects.

This stage students study their respective subjects at college or university. Also, students can lead to masters as well after their college or university.
